2018 Rear Admiral William M. Benkert Award

The U.S. Coast Guard is proud to announce we are accepting applications for the 2018 Biennial Rear Admiral William M. Benkert Environmental Protection Award for Excellence!


Started in 1995, the award recognizes corporations and businesses involved in marine facility or vessel operations that have demonstrated sustained excellence and outstanding achievement in protecting the marine environment. It also encourages innovations in operations, maintenance, cargo handling, refueling and training while providing a means to share best practices with others in the maritime community.


The award will be presented during the American Petroleum Institute Panel and Luncheon in New Orleans, LA on March 2nd, 2018.

Applications will be accepted from 15 November 2017 to 12 January 2018.
