MSIB 31-17 Philadelphia to Sea Maintenance Pipeline Crossing

The Captain of the Port, Delaware Bay, is notifying mariners of dredging operations that will obstruct the main navigation channel of the Delaware River on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from approximately 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Great Lakes Dock and Dredge will be installing submerged dredging pipeline across the main channel, Delaware River, in the New Castle Range.

Vessels wishing to transit New Castle Range between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm must contact the Dredge Illinois on VHF Ch 07 or Ch 13 to make passing arrangements. Mariners are advised that pipeline will be floating across the channel and extending outside both the green and red buoy lines during the evolution.
