I hope you all are having a happy holiday season. I would like to share this enclosed Federal Register request for comment with members of the Mariners Advisory Committee and Maritime Operations Committee. There is a petition for the Coast Guard to initiate rulemaking which would require maximum air draft information to be provided to masters of vessels.
Please let me know if you have any questions. This may be good topic of conversation for the next MAC Meeting. Comments on this notice of the petition are due NLT March 20, 2014.
