HIGH WINDS AND HEAVY WEATHER


Winter weather and strong winds are expected to impact the Delaware Bay Captain of the Port Zone the night of Tuesday, November 26. The Captain of the Port urges waterfront facility operators along the Delaware River to take prudent measures with heavy equipment and infrastructure which may be affected by strong winds.

Bridge operators at moveable bridges are requested to contact the Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay Command Center in the event that winds approach operational limits.
