Mantua Creek Safety Zone

The U.S. Coast Guard has established an emergency safety zone at the entrance of Mantua Creek beginning November 30th, 2012 until further notice. During this time Mantua Creek will be closed to all vessel traffic one mile north and one mile south of the East Jefferson Street Railroad Bridge due to a train derailment and release of hazardous materials into the environment.
