Channel Closure, Christina River Channel - July 12, 2026

Mariners are advised that a portion of Christina River Channel in between Christina River Entrance Lighted Buoy 2 (Light List #: 3015) and Christina River South Jetty Light 1 (Light List #: 3000) will be closed to vessel traffic on July 12, 2026 from 11 am to 1:30 pm due to the installation of submerged dredge pipeline in the channel. The Dredge RS WEEKS can be contacted via VHF radio channels 13, 16, and 73 or via phone at 640-466-8251. Mariners are reminded to heed the direction of the on scene vessels and transit the area with caution at a slow no wake speed.
