Delair Railroad Bridge, over the Delaware River - Scheduled Closures during FIFA 2026

Mariners are advised that the Delair Railroad Bridge across the Delaware River, in Philadelphia, PA, will be maintained in the closed-to-navigation position during the below time periods, due to the anticipated increase in ridership on NJ Transit’s Atlantic City Line associated with the 2026 FIFA World Cup Games.

• 5 p.m. on June 19, 2026, through 4 a.m. on June 20, 2026

• 1 p.m. on June 22, 2026, through 12 a.m. on June 23, 2026

• 12 p.m. on June 25, 2026, through 11 p.m. on June 25, 2026

• 1 p.m. on June 27, 2026, through 12 a.m. on June 28, 2026

• 1 p.m. on July 4, 2026, through 12 a.m. on July 5, 2026

During closure periods, vessels that can safely transit the bridge in the closed-to-navigation position may do so at any time. The bridge will open on signal for emergencies only, if at least 15 minutes notice is given. At all other times, the drawbridge will operate in accordance with the regulations set forth in Title 33 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117.716.
