Dive Operations, Delaware River, near Delaware River Turnpike Bridge
Mariners are advised that a contractor will be performing an underwater shellfish survey with divers on the New Jersey side of the Delaware River 200 yards north and south of the Delaware River Turnpike Bridge, over the Delaware River, in Bristol, PA, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on September 25 through September 27, 2025. To facilitate the survey the dive team will perform a below water survey from the shoreline to the red tow of the channel. Dives will be conducted from a 24-foot dive boat named ES-DIVERS. The dive boat can be reached via VHF radio channels 16 and 13 or via phone at 614-738-6175. Mariners are requested to contact the dive boat ES-DIVERS a minimum of 30 minutes prior to transiting the Delaware River Turnpike Bridge to make passing arrangements. While transiting the area, mariners are requested to transit with caution at the slowest safe speed to maintain navigation and minimize wake.
