Safety Zone, Delaware River Eddystone Range and Tinicum Range

The Coast Guard Captain of the Port Sector Delaware Bay will enforce a safety zone on the Delaware River to include all navigable waters from shoreline to shoreline from the west side of Little Tinicum Island to the east side of Chester Island, in the vicinity of Eddystone, PA, to include portions of Eddystone Range and Tinicum Range, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on September 23 and September 25, 2025, due to Coast Guard training operations being conducted. Vessels will be allowed to transit the safety zone after obtaining permission from the Captain of the Port or a designated representative. Vessels are required to give 30-minute notification prior to arriving at the safety zone location. On scene law enforcement vessels can be contacted via VHF radio channels 16 and 22 or via phone at 833-453-1007. Mariners are advised to use caution and heed all direction from the on-scene law enforcement vessels.
