Security Zone, Delaware River, North of Penn`s Landing

The Coast Guard Captain of The Port Sector Delaware Bay has established a security zone extending 250 yards from the Pennsylvania shoreline into the Delaware River from the Benjamin Franklin Bridge to the north end of Penn’s Landing. The security zone will be enforced on September 10, 2024, from 8 p.m. to midnight. No vessel or person will be permitted to enter the security zone without obtaining permission from the Captain of The Port or a designated representative. Vessels are required to give 30-minute notification prior to arriving at the security zone location. On scene law enforcement vessels can be contacted via VHF radio channels 16 and 22. Mariners are advised to use caution and heed all direction from the on-scene law enforcement vessels.
