SUBMERGED OBJECT REMOVAL OPERATIONS AND SAFETY ZONE

The Captain of the Port, Delaware Bay, is notifying mariners of the establishment of a safety zone for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) operation to remove submerged objects within the Delaware Bay and River. Beginning on June 15, 2020, the dredge KOKO VI, towing vessel GEORGETOWN, and deck barge BC 45 will begin submerged object removal operations on the Delaware Bay and River from Brandywine shoal to Eagle Point Range.
